The Middle East precisely the Arabians and the Turkish are peculiarly known for the coffee that they have. Coffee in the Middle East began with the early Muslims and has been on for the past fourteen centuries. When people came to the realization that coffee enhances ones waking moments, they began to take it so as to stay up late at night especially during Ramadan month when they have to observe prayers late at night and early mornings. The habit became inculcated in students who had to read at night and travelers who travel for long periods. Though according to history, the practice is said to have taken roots in Yemen. It has since grown to either Middle East Nations like Turkey, Egypt and Iraq amongst others.
The Persians have been said to have had coffee long before the Arabians, it is said that travelers from Ethiopia were accosted by Persian soldiers when they (Ethiopia) were trying to settle in Yemen. During their (Persian) raid the Persian soldiers found coffee plant then they took them to their land and the love for coffee spread across the Middle East. The Persian coffee houses are also very stylish and very popular.
The Middle Eastern coffee house is also known widely for their reputation in accommodating poets, politicians and thinkers. All can be engaged their discussions without disturbance in a passionate manner. According to history an European traveler once along Persian coast said he once saw a Persian Shan’s wife appoint someone to wait in Persian coffee house and entertain the people with talks about history, culture, poetry etc. his plan became an instant success among travelers who stopped in coffee houses and entertainers were placed round Persia.
Coffee has become integral part of the world beverages especially in the American and European settings but according to their history not only the westerners know the joy dinking the beverage coffee the middle easterners have also found the joy in coffee and they intend to keep it.
